All the participants to the conference can access the ONLINE sessions (21st, 22nd and 23rd September) and the ONSITE session (in Florence, only on the 21st September, Morning: Main Hall of the University, Piazza San Marco, 4). All the participants who received the invitation to the Google Meet sessions are allowed to invite other participants/authors.
The Platform used for all the conference session is GOOGLE MEET in case of difficulties do not hesitate to contact the Conference Board at info@arcoconference.com or the Chairmen/women of your session (note that all the address from the DIDA Department are: name.surname@unfi.it).
The duration of each presentation during the sessions is about 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions/answers, thus each chairman/woman may decide to vary the duration, extending the time in case of missing presenters.
There is no official template for the presentations, feel free to use the software you prefer to prepare your presentation, during the session the chairman/woman will invite you to the speech and you may share your screen with all the others.
Questions/Answers will be coordinated by the Chairman/woman.
For all who will attend the session in place on the 21st September:
You can bring your notebook for the presentation, the video connection is HDMI ONLY, any adapter for display port or similar should be provided by the presenter.
As an alternative, you may bring your presentation on a pendrive, in this case, the only supported formats are PDF (Adobe Acrobat) or PPT/PPTX (Powerpoint).
Please bring your smartphone or tablet/notebook and connect it to the local wireless network or your data service, in any case, try to have your mobile device connected to take part, reserve/present questions, appear in the session for the people connected online. IN ANY CASE, NEVER SWITCH ON the microphone until it is your time to speak or heavy noise may disturb the whole session.
Important note for the authors/presenters: the invitation will be sent to the corresponding author ONLY, but he/she will be free to invite all the others to take part to the conference.
In case you are taking part in the conference on day one (21st September) with your speech, you can participate with your co-authors for the presentation as well.
For the onsite conference on the 21st PLEASE NOTE: the social distance to be kept in all the University venues is always 1.8 metres, in all the closed areas wearing the mask all the time is mandatory. If you have a problem wearing the mask you can participate online. All the people taking part in the on-site sessions will be asked to fill a registration form and will have the temperature measurement according to the present safety protocols.
